The United Nations has warned India on unprofessional behavior with Muslims and other minorities.

According to the International News Agency, UN Human Rights Chief Michelle Blanchett has expressed concern over the violence against the Muslims and other minorities in India, and directed India to provide protection and basic rights to the minorities.

Michelle Bachelet said further news of incidents of harassment and targeting of minorities, especially Muslims in India have been received. Kashmiris have also increased violence after the Pulwama attack. Apart from mischievous behavior with Dalit and Overseas communities, historically deprived and ethnic discrimination is being carried out.

Michelle Bachelet warned India that the country’s distribution of policies based on race, community, and religion can be a hindrance to India’s economic growth. India should protect minorities. The United Nations will also play a role in this regard.

It is clear that in the era of Modi’s rule in India, Muslims, Sikhs, and lower caste Hindus have become increasingly involved in slab basic human rights and incidents of violence.
