Bilawal Bhutto elected as Chairman of Standing Committee for Human Rights

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has been elected Chairman of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee for Human Rights.

After the appointment of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee for Human Rights in Islamabad, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, told media that:

“The protection of human rights is the basis of democracy. Democracy can not run without human rights”.

Pakistan Peoples Party believes in parliament I chose the Human Rights Committee myself.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that law cannot be ruled without the protection of human rights. The case of missing persons will be raised in the Human Rights Committee.

On this occasion, a journalist questioned Asif Ali Zardari that what will you advise to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on being selected as the Chairman of the committee of Human Rights? In response to this question Asif Ali Zardari said that:

” Bilawal Bhutto Zardari do not need any advice”.
