Sleep is one of the essential habits in human life that can not be dispensed because of its great importance in rebalancing the body after a hard day of work, thinking and physical exertion as well. During sleep, the mind, as people call it, organizes information inside it.
Sleeping has a significant role in keeping the human focus during the day and not as some believe that sleep is a waste of time. If one of us is sleeping, one of the essential habits in human life that he can not do without is because of its great importance in rebalancing the body after a hard day of work.
And thinking and physical exertion also, during sleep the mind is called as people (in order of ideas), reorganizes the information inside and is similar to the process of classification of this information. The human body compensates the damaged of its various cells and rebuild muscle fibers and cells in the body.
If one of us tried to sleep for a few hours during the night and then sleep again as full and thick as his body already needed, he would find that when he slept for a short period of time, Will not get the same activity during the day, as the whole day will be distracted, in addition to being unable to work productively during the day or sleep for short periods and continuously during the day.
The person needs to sleep the number of hours specified. If a person doesn’t sleep enough, it will cause several problems to his body.
At every age, there are some specific hours a person needs to sleep. At a young age our body needs at least 9-hour sleep.
According to the American National Foundation:
- Less than 3 months : fourteen to seventeen hours.
- Four to 11 months : Twelve to fifteen hours.
- From 1 to 2 years : eleven to fourteen hours.
- From 3 to 5 years : ten to thirteen hours.
- From 6 to 13 years : nine to eleven hours.
- From 14 to 17 years : eight to ten.
- From 18 to 25 years : nine hours.
- From 26 to 64 years : seven to nine hours.
- 64 and above : seven to eight hours.
Although sleep time for adults is the same as age but the nature of sleep is different. The rest of a person becomes lighter as age increases.
